Results of Our Survey of New York State Senators
Let People Decide has asked every New York state senator to declare their position on letting New York voters decide whether to reduce the size and cost of the state senate. The senators were asked to choose one of the following two statements:
-"I support downsizing the New York State Senate, and as a member I will vote to amend state law to reduce the senate to 50 members, place the measure before voters in a referendum, and support any and all steps necessary to accomplish this reform."
-"I oppose downsizing the New York State Senate."
As the senators' responses are received, we will publish them on this page.
